The Galloway Forest Astronomical Society will be host to an introduction to planets, exoplanets and galaxies.

Galloway Forest Astronomical Society offers a 4K video presentation on our own solar system, other planetary systems, nearby galaxies and very remote galaxies using the Stellarium app and images from the James Webb Space Telescope. If skies are clear there may also be an opportunity to view the Andromeda Galaxy, the Moon, Jupiter, Mars and, later on, the great nebula in Orion, directly from the Hive car park. All welcome, especially young people.

Starts at 6pm, all welcome especially children and young people.
